Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and motivate the PLC programming team in the planning, development, integration, and commissioning of automation projects;
  • Plan and assign tasks, monitor project progress, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met;
  • Act as a technical reference for the team by providing advanced expertise in PLC programming and industrial automation;
  • Actively contribute to the development, configuration, and deployment of PLC programs and HMI interfaces;
  • Supervise and ensure the successful installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automated systems;
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure seamless project integration;
  • Evaluate operational needs and recommend solutions that promote continuous improvement of processes and technical infrastructure;
  • Oversee the preparation and updating of project documentation, procedures, and test scenarios;
  • Support the training and skills development of team members;
  • Participate in the strategic planning of automation projects and advise on technological directions (PLC, HMI, IoT, RPA, etc.);
  • Perform any other related duties aligned with the role and organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field;
  • PLC Technical Certification – Allen Bradley (mandatory);
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in PLC programming, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team coordination role;
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley products (Studio 5000, HMI programming software, Asset Center) and good knowledge of Siemens systems;
  • Proven experience in designing, programming, and commissioning automation systems;
  • Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and manufacturing processes;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills;
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and proactively solve complex problems.
